a) 2009 is a big change year for me , because i met new classmates and some of my old classmates had change and became more mature and understand other peoples 's feeling .I like them more than last yeart . In 2009 , i had also improved my results quite alot, this is the happiest year in wellington i had .

d) I am looking forward that in 2010 , I will score good for PSLE and get into a good school. And i realise that it's better to study hard now than regret later! So i am really going to work hard and do all the homeworks teacher give me (:

2009 was very fast for me and my friends and it was very fun.My english compo had improved but it was still not good enough I will try to do more practices so that I could do better.My scores for SA2 had improved so I was very happy.I am looking forward to get better grades next year.I wish everyone a happy holiday ahead.
ReplyDeletea) Year 2009 was really different for me unlike p4 we have more to do this year. The maths this year is more difficult however i could cope with it with the help of a kind teacher madam lakshmi.I really enjoyed this year particularly because of madam lakshmi, the joy giver. She maybe stict at times and really humorous at times too. she can give us many many solutions for a single maths problem.this year was the best year i had throughout my life in wellington.
ReplyDeleteb)I have gone through m,any difficulty in maths and could not cope at firs. I finally knew p5 was a tough year. i haqve to cut down on television programmes and computer games. i found it very difficult to accept that.I did assesments and enrichment from madam lakshmi and i began to like maths.
c)the best thing that happened in year 2009 is that i have met a teacher by the name of madam mlakshmi. She was truly inspiring that i liked her for her stictness even more than any other teachers. I have4 met good friends too. They helped me alot in my homewqork too.
d) I am looking forward to have madam lakshmi to teach me the next year. She was the best teacher i ever had. We had many improvements in our studies with the help of her. I sam sure she would nuture all of us into talents if she could continue to teach us next year. Lets pray hard that she would never leave

a) I think that 2009 is a major challenge for me as there is a humongous jump from Primary 4 and Primary 5. Despite being worried that I may not score well,however,I managed to do well and get a placing in the top 3 in class.I wish that I would be excelling in the PSLE next year under the wings of Mdm Lakshmi as well as my other subject teachers like 2009 in 2010.
ReplyDeleteb)The pitfall that occured in me were not very difficult to overcome.It was when during CA1, my results dropped drastically and I was very upset as well as worried.Therefore,I began to reduce my computer time and used it to do more practices in my subjects.Now,still,Ihave been still doing the same thing as tuition for me is not on the cards because of the costly fees.In the future,I will try my best to excel in my essays and PSLE.
c)Despite the pitfalls,a good thing happened to me.My hardworking studies were paid off as I excelled in SA2.
d)Of course,PSLE is at the top of my mind and my wish is to get good results in it.Also,Ilook forward to new classmates in the following year.
( A )It would be hard to say that 2009 was a boring year , so I would say that it was quite a challenging year for me . Challenging though it was , I learnt to overcome my obstacles through Mdm Lakshmi's expert teaching .
ReplyDelete( B )My SA2 results were disappointing . Even though I had revised my work and done my best during the exam , I learnt that doing all those thingsweren't enough . You must have the stamina and the power to continue toughening yourself for the obstacles that are lying ahead . I've also learnt that life isn't easy , and we must strive to get what we want to achieve .
( C )I encountered many friends in 2009 . Although sometimes they could be a little annoying , their good influence on me has reminded me that they will always be there for me during the dark times or good times .
( D )I am looking forward to learning new things for the upcoming PSLE and making new friends . I really hope that my grades won't drop any further .
a)2009 was a good experience for me as I faced new Maths topics such as ratio, average and volume. I also met a new teacher named Mdm Lakshimi. She was a good teacher as she thought of fun ways to teach us.
ReplyDeleteb)For this year(2009), I had some difficulties in my studies as t6here were new topics to learn and I did not quite understand some of them. As a result, my results dropped quite a bit. But as I learn to master those topics, my grades inproved.
c)I had encountered some good things. they were the programmes installed for us such as the peer tutoring programme. I had learn something and that was to have confidence in your answer. If you are not sure, you just need to ask and not be afriad.
d)I am looking forward to the new topics in 2010 where I am in P6. I will face some problems in P6 but I just need to have enough courage to face it.

It was a change for me after a long absence of teaching a good class. I enjoyed this year with my P5E pupils. They are full of joy and laughter. My PDL leave was a good. It allowed me to do some reflections. On the home front, I had more time with my children.
ReplyDeleteb) Leaving my class in term 3 cost me big time. Coming back in term 4 was difficult. I had to undo plenty in class and that cost me time in teaching. Well if I am given PDL again, I will take it in January so that there are no breaks in between.
c) I encountered interesting pupils in my class. Everyone was different in their own ways. Some do keep in touch with me through emails or msn. I managed with the help of the class to create this blog. I have been busy to update the blog. I will definitely use more often next year.
d) I am not sure. There are 2 thoughts. I want to continue with my present class, but at the same time, I am not sure. Usually, by end of year, I do get a more reformed bunch of pupils whom I can carry one. However the maturity in this class is still lacking. I am concern for that. For me Attitude and Grades weigh equally. They have the grades which I know I can bring nature further; however I am sceptical about their attitude. That is my concern.

a)It was fun in 2009 but i know that my results are really bad. I even failed in CA2.
ReplyDeleteb)My pitfalls were failing my chinese and maths.To overcome them, I will study harder before the exams. I will also stop playing games and watching TV before the exams.
c)The good things were making alot of friends and having lots of fun.Another good thing is that i get to know my teacher,Mdm Lakshmi, better and that she is not fierce but funny.
d)I am looking forward tomaking more friends and getting better results for my exams.I will also try to get an A for all my subjects. To do it, I must do more assessments and stop watching the television.By Timothy.

ReplyDeleteb)My grades for CA2 dropped as i did not study for the exams.In the future, i am going to study for all of my exams as i do not want to get low results again.
c)This year, i had made a lot of new friends from other classes and my result for SA2 improved as i studied hard for them after getting low marks for CA2.
d)I want to get high results for the PSLE by reading books about the subjects and studying for it.I also want to make more friends so that i will have more fun next year and when i need help, i can turn to more people for help.I want to get into a good secondary school in 2011 by getting high results for PSLE.

ReplyDeleteb)There was a electone exam this year and I got a distinction.I was'nt really happy because although I got a distinction,I did not get all As.Next year, if I have other exams, I would practise hard.
c)This year, I encounted many good things.One of them was befriending Grace.She helped me in my studies and many other things.It's been a great pleasure meeting Grace as she introduced me to many good books.
d)In 2010, I am looking forward for my grade 8 piano exams and my PSLE.I hope I can do well in both.

a)2009 was a very busy, challenging and great year for me. Busy was because I had lots of homework to do everyday, and great was because I had enjoyed being in 5E.Challenging was because of my math results.
ReplyDeleteb)Math was very difficult for me this year, unlike in Primary 4, where it was a whole lot easier.I almost got a C for CA1, but I managed to improve and got an A for SA2.
c)I made quite a number of new friends and I also had a new teacher, which I like alot.
d)I wish to get to know the 2 pupils who will be coming over to our class. Also, I hope that I can continue to get As for my math, best if I can get A*s. I will try to improve in my science by reading lots of science books. I also hope that I can get 250 and above for my PSLE.
2009 is the best year of my schooling life. I am going to write about the good things and bad things that happened.
ReplyDeletea)Classmates. As I said, this year is the best one in school for me, and it is mainly because of 5E. My fellow classmates are fun to be with but most of them know how to be serious at times.
b)Work. At first, I struggled a lot with my work as it was a big jump from P4 to P5. To me then, P4 was a breeze compared to P5. Igt was the Math I struggled most with and I was often not able to complete my homework before eight-thirty. But as the days passed, I realised that if I made good use of my time, there would be sufficent time for both work and play. It was all a matter of time management.
c)Family. Without my them, I would not be able to acheive even average grades. They helped me by pushing me and giving me lots of assesment. But there were also some times when I slacked and simply refused to do any work and as a result, my grades dropped. I know I have disappointed my family greatly as they wanted me to get into the top 3 and I did not even get into the top 10. Other than my language results, they are not satisfied. I want them to be happy so I will TRY not to slack next year.
d)What I think P6 will be like:
I have talked to my seniors and according to them, P6 is like infinity times tougher than P5 so I have to pray hard, study hard, work hard, play and relax too. I want to acheive good results in PSLE next year so that I can graduate to a good secondary school.I can't say I will look forward to next year, but I'm sure I will also enjoy it.

Time is flying very fast this year.One year has almost just passed.I think we'll miss one another when we're having the one month and more holidays.I really enjoyed being a student of P5E.I think some of my classmates had gone through some of the hardship.But don't worry, there's always a solution to solve matters...
ReplyDeletea)For me, 2009 is a fun year...I really enjoyed some jokes being told by some of the classmates.At the same time, there's some hardship,example: group work.It's not easy to have group-work as some of the members don't co-operate with us.But it's also fun to have group-work as we can shared our feelings of the group-work with one another...
b)Among the 4 terms, Term 3 is the hardest year to go through...When Mdm Lakshmi is not around, the class misbehaved. This made Mr Chan very hard to control us as he had so many students to care of. I think we have to behave-well in future in order to make the teacher teaching us next year to discipline us well.
c)Some of my classmates were interesting and amusing.Some of them cracked jokes with the class and the class were filled with laughter.
It was just like a family that we can shared our joy, laughter and sadness with one another. Other than that, the class managed to create blog to post some of the reflections of us. I hope the blog will get the class communicated during the Dec holidays.
d)I am looking forward to the year 2010. Other than that, I am also looking forward to have new friends next year. I hope the class will be more united and co-operative in order to go through the challenging hardship next year.

A)2009 was great , challenging and interesting for me as there was a huge difference from 2008 to 2009 . I have learnt many things and i have enjoyed being in 5E .
ReplyDeleteB)My results at the beginning of the year had dropped alot as compared to my results in 2008 . So , I paid more attention in class and studied harder . My results improved in Term 3 and 4 .
C)I encountered new form teachers ( Mdm Lakshmi and Mr Chan ) and some interesting classmates . Mdm Laskhmi has been a great teacher and clearly explained those math questions which we have got them wrong .
D)I am looking forward to make friends with the 2 new classmates . I am also looking forward to get an A* for my math and get 230 and above for my PSLE .

a)Primary 5 is a big jump from Primary 4. That meant fewer weekends having fun, but I had to do so.I learnt many new things in Maths which was interesting to learn.I also had fun learning about Charlotte's Web.
ReplyDeleteb)One of my pitfalls were the CA2 exams. Everything went totally wrong. I rated that as my worst exams ever in my whole life. I guess I have to start revision even earlier in the future to prevent it from repeating again, espacially in PSLE.
c)Every year, my church would have a skit and this year, I managed to be the emcee for the programme. Usually, I would only be a narrator. A rare opportunity for me!
d)I am looking forward to the PSLE exam next year. I am still thinking of which secondary school I want to go to. I also look forward to Singapore holding the Youth Olympics next year.

a)2009 was a very difficult year for me as my result dropped a lot. I am also very disappointed with the results that I had gotten. I really need to study hard in class and pay attention too to get good results.

c)The good things I had encounter this year is that there is a new form teacher in my class and the teacher made the lessons more interesting so I will not feel so bored and sleepy.The class also has more laughter than last year.

a)This year was a challenging year for me and i was not as free as i was in primary four.This year,was over a bilnk of an eye and i had to learn more in each of my subjects and improve it in anyway i could.
ReplyDeleteb)This year,for me , has it's own up's and down'First, my maths grades are going down the silde, then ,it when down and down until CA2,where i got a disapointing 71. But,my english and science still remained quite the same.I will expose myself to more challenging questions in order to get an Astar in math. As for my engilsh,i had been thinking how i improved from a 68 to a good 82 for the paper.As i did badly for SA1, i do not expect good overall results for my english , but ,i will make sure that i get at least 85 for my english.
c)I got good grades for my paper 2 for english but i did not know how i got it,especally when i did not do much work.
d)I am looking forward to having good results for my PSLE , hopefully above 265 and i will give it my best shot . Secondly, i wish to do more sports and improve at some of them such as badminton ,as i always lose to my father .

(A) The year zoomed past and the journey of 5E is coming to an end. My achievements were achieved and I’m glad they were. It was fun to be with the class and Mdm Lakshmi. Reflecting the past few years in Wellington and this year, I found that this year was the greatest year I had in Wellington primary school.
ReplyDelete(B) I had great results in SA2 and I thought that P5 was very easy and I slacked through out term 3. As a result, my English and math result deproved. I had learnt my lesson and continued working hard. My English and math results then improved.
(C) There were a lot of good things that had happened in this year, but I’ll just list a few.
(i) 5E had been a very supportive class. Whenever my classmates go up to stage to collect prizes, 5E will either cheer or clap.
(ii) We joke around most of the time and our class is filled with laughter most of the time.
(D) I’m sure 2010 will be a short year too as it will be our turn to take the PSLE. I hope that Mdm Lakshmi will still be teaching us next year. I’ll try to achieve all As for my PSLE. I hope that next year everyone will work hard and strive for their goals.

a)Year 2009 was a difficult year as I had to work hard to prepare for PSLE next year. However, this year I also had a teacher who helped me in my studies and taught me to be a better person in her own way. This year seems to have passed in the blink of an eye, and soon she might be teaching another class. I shall miss her if she will not be teaching my class even though we can keep in touch through email.
ReplyDeleteb)The pitfalls were that my results were dropping noticeably, and that I did not reach most of my targets that year. I found Science especially challenging this year too. I will also have to improve my attitude, social behaviour and try to be more mature.
c)The good things I encountered this year was that my marks improved during mid-year, and I had an interesting teacher to teach me this year. I also befriended a few pupils from other classes who had moved into class 5E that year.
d)I want to borrow more Chinese library books from the library during the holidays to improve my Chinese vocabulary and learn more new Chinese words as I usually read English books only, and as I can borrow 8 books instead of 4 books during the holidays I can borrow more Chinese books without affecting he number of English books I usually borrow. I also want to borrow more Science books to read as in the Science exam papers I have done I was not only tested on the things I have read in the textbook but on things I can only find in outside Science books. I also hope that the teacher I had this year will be teaching me next year too, as she is a great teacher and my grades improved mostly due to her teaching style. She has contributed a lot to the class and has put all her efforts into helping us in our studies and behaviour and is always looking out for the class, even if she might not be teaching us next year.

a)2009 was a tough year.Many challenges were prepared for me,especially the training sessions.It is fun to be a classmate of P5E.
ReplyDeleteb)During the first semester,I was very disappointed in myself for scoring marks that I did not expect to score.Only then I started to reduce the number of training sessions and spent more time on my studies.I think I should continue to study more rather than going for more training sessions in the future.
c)I have encounted many good friends who had supported me and thus I find that being a classmate of P5E is a fun and enjoyable experience.Mdm Lakshmi is a kind and thoughtful teacher.Being taught by her is also a wonderful experience.
d)I look forward to a lot of things.One of them is I want Mdm Lakshmi to teach me next year.Another is to do better in my studies with the help of my parents and teachers.I also look forward to complete the Math book Mdm Lakshmi recommended which my parents found it very useful.

a) 2009 was a particularly busy year for me . I struggled with my maths , which , sad to say went rock bottom to 80 half-way through the year . Luckily , I soon caught up and gave myself the best birthday present I could have hoped for - certificate of 1st in class .
ReplyDeleteb)1.thyroid . Other than causing me to skip school , I had to take blood tests every 3 months . Then , after waiting for a little over an hour for every trip to the doctor's , I had to go through an agonizing (and boring )explanation of how the thyroid glands were affecting me .2. I missed many music lessons that I was wishing for throughout the whole year .
c)My music homework was affecting my academic work , but fortunately , I had Shearerlyn's help , and went through my theory examinations successfully .
d) More music lessons , straight A*s , first in class .
Grace
a)2009 was quite a tough year for me as it was a big leap from 2008.It took me a while to adapt to my new environment.Everything was different:the exam papers,the teachers,my classmates,etc.But,in the end,I still managed to get the hang of everything.
ReplyDeleteb)My biggest pitfall this year was when I received my marks for my exams in the SA1.I had totally flunked the Chinese paper 2,I did not even get an A* for my Math test and my Science test marks were way below my expectations.I was ready to head into depression but I got over it,studied harder and hey presto!,I improved.
c)The best things I had encountered this year were my friends. They helpesd me,supported me and encouraged me throughout the year. they are really my true friends.
d)The main thing I hope to happen next year isforthat Mdm Lakshmi to be my teacher.I also look forward to seeing what the p6 standards are next year.I wondetr if its going to be easier or harder?That's all that I have to say.

a)2009 was a great learning experience for me. I had Mdm Lakshmi as my form teacher whose character was different from other teachers. Her way of teaching is also different. Although there was much work and assessments in this year, I still enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteb)Most of the time, I have difficulties in my English and having Rachel, Leona and Sharmayne as my friends, they are able to help me with them. Helping a friend in need is a friend indeed.
c)Sometimes,I am also able to help Rachel, Leona and Sharmayne with their work and I just feel so happy being able to help my friends. Sometimes, we can also talk over the phone helping one another with our homework.
d)I am looking forward to getting good grades in my PSLE to be able to get into a good secondary school. I know that I must work extra hard in order to fufil them.

(a) It was fun,challenging and stressful. I met new and old friends. In the best class, there are many smart friends and I find it challenging to score as well as them.There is always joy and laughter in the class due to jokes from fireinds and teacher.
ReplyDelete(b) There were not much pitfalls although I got alot more homework compared to primary 4.I still could cope with my homework. I am very disappointed in my results. I think the cause of me getting low results is due to lack of preparation,planning and studying.To be honest, I did not really study much.
(c) I met a great and experienced teacher,Mdm Lakshmi. She taught me alot of tatics to solve challenging Math and English problems. She also gave us extra worksheets that are more challenging and always give us test before the exams. I enjoyed her lessons the most(except PE) and is always looking forward to it.
(d) I am looking forward to the PSLE. I hope Mdm Lakshmi would teach us next year. I also hope that i would score in the PSLE with early planning, studying and preparation.

a) 2009 was a fast and intersting year for me as I get to learn new things. Mdm Lakshmi is a great teacher and she is very persistant.

c)The good things is that I get to tutor other pupils and I improved in my languages as Mdm Lakshmi gave us many practices for us to do.

A)2009 was a very fast and victorious year for me.I managed to achieve my goal that is to get at least three 'A's by SA2.I also managed to get 78 for my higher mother tongue overall.I am very happy because I improved by 13 marks comparing to SA1 marks which were 65 marks.
ReplyDeleteB)My pitfall this year is my science paper.I do not understand,I have tried very hard to get an 'A' for science throughout the whole year but I failed.Though I got a 'B' for science,I will not give up but will persevere instead to get an 'A' or even an 'A*' maybe.
C)In 2009 I have encountered good teachers such as my form teacher,Mdm Lakshmi,who inspired me to do well in my studies.Though,I have been influenced by friends to talk more continuously,Mdm Lakshmi never gives up to make us talk less by giving us a lecture in class.Her lectures sometimes make me realise that you can be victorious in life if you bohave and do the right things constantly.

ReplyDeleteWell,2009 was quite a fun year for me.The only thing which i did not like was camping in the school and not being able to go to Sentosa.Apart from that,the teachers made the P5 Camp really fun and enjoyable by creating exciting games for us to enjoy.

The pitfalls for me this year was getting back my exam results for my CA2 examination.It was such a disappointment for me as i had worked really hard to try and get 80 and above for all my exams.So, i worked extra hard and achieved my goal in this year's SA2 examinations to the delight of my mother.
c)
I made a lot of good friends this year.All of us share a lot in common like reading books.I am just happy that the exams are over and my family and i are going to go on a holiday for a week in a beach resort in Vietnam.
d)
I am looking forward to getting 250 and above for my PSLE and getting into a good secondry school just like my sister.
a) It was a very good experience as I had a lot of fun and my grades improved since last year. I was was worried of PSLE from the end of the exams as I know that would choose my secondery school in 2011.
ReplyDeleteb) I was worried that I would have scored less than 70 for my science and less than 90 for my maths but I prevailed except for english as I was aiming for A. I also had a stsrting with almost everybody a stranger to me but then i met a few people and made friends with them.
c) I had the highest maths score for CA1 and SA1. I had made a lot of friends so I would not be lonely next year. I had improved from CA1 to SA2 for all subjects other than maths but I kept it a costant A*.
d) I am looking forward to improve more and have high scores for PSLE. I am also looking forward to have a better attitude than this year. I am looking forward to having full marks in one subject as in has not happened before from P3.

ReplyDeleteb)In P3, i scored 60 plus for my science paper in SA1.I was disappointed.I studied hard and scored 90 for my science paper in SA2 the same year.This year,i did not study that hard and scored 80 1/2.I hope to study hard as much as i did in P3 for PSLE.
c)The good things i encounted was making new friends and having going to the National Day Parade. Though it was scorching hot i had a lot of fun.
d)I am looking for another such trips next year.
a)2009 was a learning expirience. So much to learn but so little time.It was very good but at the same time stressful.
ReplyDeleteb)I got lots of low marks for my exams this year. I will try to learn hard to overcome this obstacle.
c)I made a few more friends this year and I managed to score a few B's.
d)I want to make more friends and study very hard so that I can get high marks.

a)2009 was a very torturous and fun year.I have learnt a lot of things this year.At first i thought this year will be really scary but now i feel much much better =D
ReplyDeleteb)All of my results are SO bad.Especially my mother tongue.My maths also dropped badly so is my english.Next year i will stop playing computer games(or just don't play as much).But i wonder how am i going to go through a year without a computer.There really is nothing i can say for B-_-.
c)The good things?not much,almost all are bad things.Well my friends which i met since pri3 is still here and i am going to p6 with them!!That is really good.Also i got 3 "A"s in my report book(i think?)Haha,great year.P5 camp WAS NEVER A GOOD THING.No campfire,no overnight,no nothing AH!
d)I look forward to more excursions,more uhhh...i can't think of anything.I hope my psle will be VEERY HIGH so that i can go into the school i want go!!
A.wow,2009 was a tottally fast year for me,it's like mdm laksmi taught me for only 1 month,the year past really fast.Mdm laksmi had taught me a lot of things.I did not like the P5 camp as it was not overnight.
ReplyDeleteB.my chinese was bad this year,during the first two exams i only manage to pass with one or two marks.
c.The good thing about this year is that my best friend is in the same class and he often visit me to his house to play.I am also happy because my mom bought me a two wheels skateboard which i always wished for.
D.What I am looking forward in 2010 is to stay in the same class again with my bast friends, Rezki and Ahmad and i hope i can improve on my chinese (Done By Zhi Ping)
a) 2009 was my best year in Wellington. This year time really flew this year ,in a flash, it was the end of the year. When Mdm Lakshmi teach the class, I am always the most noisiest. When she could not take it anymore, she told me to go out and when she is sick, like sore throat , and scold me, you might not believe this but I really feel guilty.
ReplyDeleteb) This year, my grades drop and had some tough topics which I at first though it was tough to master but luckily Mdm Lakshmi was always trying her best to help us and I can look for her anytime.
c) The good things were I met new friends although some of them kind of hate me because I keep on annoying them. The other is I met Mdm Lakshmi, akthough she is fierce but she is kind hearted.
d) I wish Mdm Lakshmi will teach us next year because next year is PSLE and have less time. I want Mdm Lakshmi because she knows where we are weak in and can immediately help us. I wish everyone a happy December holidays.

a)2009 was a very good learning experiece, though very stressful, indeed. It was getting even more tiring studying and studying. I do not know what else to say.
ReplyDeleteb)I improved a bit in my Chinese but still scored very badly in my Chinese and I will work even harder to score even better. I will also try to excel in my english oral as well.
c)Let me see. The good things are meeting a very good teacher, Mdm Lakshmi. She taught a lot of things, more than any other ordinary teacher.
d)I will try to excel in the PSLE and I wish Mdm Lakshmi will teach even more things in future.
